Department of Transport has a Connecting Schools grant to increase cycling to school through bicycle education and cycling infrastructure. Read our TSTS blog here (includes examples of successful recipients).
RAC WA are open to a wide range of applications for Grass Roots Grants (under $5k) and Projects (under $20k). Successful past projects include cycle training, setting up a community bike fleet, developing an "bike bus" phone app!
There are regular rounds for Project grants and Grass Roots applictaions can be submitted anytime, with a minimum of six weeks prior to project start date.
RAC have also opened regional WA cycling education.
Office of Road Safety Community Grants - offer grants for events and projects. Applications close on the first Friday of February, April, June, August, October and December.
Bankwest Happy Communities Grant - Supports local community projects by awarding 20 grants per month from $1,000 to $200.
Teachers Environment Fund - Awards grants of up to $2,000 twice per year to help schools fund environmental projects.
Schools First Offers awards funding for leading school-community partnerships and offers a matchmaking service for schools looking for community/corporate partnerships.
