During term 3, I have been using the Transperth Get on Board program during our Buddy Group session. On Friday afternoon's, our year 1-7 students integrate into Buddy Groups where they participate in a variety of different activities. During these sessions I have been discussing with the groups the different forms of transport and the rules associated with using public transport. At the end of each session, the children develop a poster of the rules they have learnt about.

Over the last few weeks our TravelSmart children have been working with Nichola to plan our Walk to School Day event for next term using ideas from the Arthur Orsini workshop we attended earlier this term. Our five children, Mikail, Breanna, Corey, Aleece and Sarah, have had an active role in the planning process for our event, 'Travel Fest.' A slow bike race will be held at the school during the last week of Term 3. Students from Years 4 & 5, 6 & 7 will be able to enter this race.
